Day 1 (saturday)     209 pounds

Today I accessed the site and I saw what's available and trying to familiarize with it, I downloaded their diet document and other additional material, I read the main diet and the 'calworries' document, I liked the conversational way of explaining the diet and the many practical tips, I just browsed throguh the other additional materials and I am going to wait a bit to dig into them, I think I have enough to concentrate on the diet itself for now. .

I entered the part where you select your foods for the diet, most I can understand, some are alien to me, but I selected most of what I think I would like and generated my diet for the next 14 days, printed it and printed my shopping list, I am going shooping tonight and start tomorrow.

Day 2

It went perfect, of course, I ate pizza, chile verde tamales from Target, hershey's cake and bacon, so no problems at all today, tomorrow starts the low calorie regime, so let's see how it goes, I almost forgot to take the drops a couple times, 6 times a day, I figured every two hours, so I am keeping track on a notebook now how many times I've taken them.

I used to shop at Walmart and they don;t have some of the things like the flax seeds, a couple of condiments like dill, so I had to go to the next-up supermarket to get those.

I started with the protein shake and loved it, something I normally wouldn't prepare for myself before but it is very filling and tastes great.

I like the fact that you don't have to count calories or keep track of portions, you just eat until you feel satisfied which in a scale of 1 to 10 is a 6 to a 7.

Wow! loved the meals, apples and cheese as a snack, turkey, shrimp and potatoes, i am doing well as far as being hungry, I am not hungry at all with this diet.

Day 3

Great, scrambled eggs, a chicken mango salad I loved and a wrap with goat cheese beans and corn that was so easy to do and it tastes so delicious, never tried before the spaghetti squash and I liked it but it was a bit lenghty to prepare it, it was in the oven for like 20 minutes.

Most things are very easy to prepare, I am static, I didn;t think that eating healthy was this easy, tasty and filling!

Day 4

Hmmm... almond butter, never tried it befor, it is fine, eggs, chicken twice, a stuffed pepper with cottage cheese was great and again a tasty shake that makes me fill great because I feel full but with a sensation fo healthiness.

Day 5

I am feeling fantastic on this diet, I have started to feel healthy on my eating, and great taste, I am noticing that they cut all artificial sugar and salt, however, with the use of honey and salsas and spices I am not having trouble with taste, I think I am not craving my regular chocolates, pastries and chips.

I loved today the skewers and the apple turkey and swiss cheese, mmmm delicious.

Day 6

I am going to start cooking twice a day instead of trying to prepare every meal as it comes, fortunately I work from home but going to the kitchen 5 times has started to wiegh on me, so I am going to prepare breakfast and the nest two meals in the morning and the other two in the afternoon.

Everything is going great although some of the snacks fill me but they don't last that long, I want to eat again in an hour or so, however, with 5 meals, eating every two to two hours and a half is not that big of a deal.

Loved the sparragus, more eggs, and there is a lot of meat on this diet! Chicken and meat, very feeling and the recipes are tasty!

I craved for chocolates last night but I didn't cave in!

Day 7     204.5 pounds (-4.5)

Cool! Cheating day! It says anything I want! I was excited although I must say I wasn't that hungry, I was thinking on a burger with bacon and fries but ended up wasting my cheating time, which is 3 hours, I just ate a mexican burrito and some chips but I wasn't really hungry.

More eggs, chicken and I liked the cereal, strawberry sandwich with cream cheese and sugar puddings.

I weighted myself today and I am very happy with the 4 1/2 pounds I lost, I wasn't hungry any day!

Day 8

I keep liking the recipes, some are way easy to prepare and some take a bit more, it is taking me 40 minutes or so to prepare 2 to 3 meals for three people, my wife and breother, who are also loving it.

Day 9

I didn't know that turkey chili existed, I like the days where there's meat twice, I think that I am going to have to skip one meal today, I'm stuffed and I have meat left for the next meal and I am going to bed.

Day 10

I absolutely love the smoothies, they feel so good, I have started to feel great inside my body, like lean, healthy and going to the bathroom is a breeze.

I loved the papaya avocado salad, some things sound weird on paper and when you combine them and prepare them the way the instruct you they taste great!

Day 11

I wish everyday had smoothies, I'm getting hooked on them, the lettuce wrap of eggs with mustard was also very good, as well as the spinach salad.

Day 12 - Day 14     201.5 pounds (-7.5)

I keep eating and learning what I like, what's healthy, I super love the lean steak with brocolli with garlic and I think that olive oil is great.

I am going to select other meals and keep the ones I absolutely loved, they are all great but some are better to me, I learned also that you can shuffle your menu, so I can select and then try shuffles and keep the one I like the most.

Shopping was a bit easier, I can't believe how different is my shopping at the supermarket, I spend now a lot of time in the vegetables and fruits department and no so much on the rest of the aisles.

Day 15

These next 14 days have more of what I've liked as well as new things, also I chose things that were easier or faster to prepare, I like it that there's not a lot of cooking, many things are ready to server or just cutting of vegetables or fruits and you are almost ready to go.

The greek salad is awesome, I still have trouble finding the flax seeds, found powder which I am using instead.

Day 16

It's getting more regular and learning to prepare things faster, as well as the amounts I need to buy.

I love the seeds, specially I personally love the soy ones, and I have never purchased in bulk before, I like that aisle at the supermarket now.

Day 17

Trouble in paradise, I have a family gathering this weekend and the food we serve is amazing but not in the healthy area necessarily, I am going to see how much of their tips I can apply which are basically eat the diet up to a moment before going to the event, not sit or be around the food table as mush as possible and try to eat small protions.

Day 18

They use yogurt quite often and I like so I am happy with that, it is becoming more mainstream for me, the eating, is like I am getting used to eating all the meals and I feel exited when I have new recipes on the menu.

Day 19

I have never tried the english muffins before, they're cool.

Looove it when the snack is apples or pears with swiss cheese, I serve the cheese in chunks and is just amazing.

Day 20

I had our gathering and I am sorry to say I couldn't hold it, I ate meat with bacon, mexican tacos with salsa, potatoes, chips with triple bean, cheese and cream dip and cake, beers and smirnoff's ice and I ate until I couldn't any more, so much so that I feel kind of sick today, my stomach feels super stuffed and I am having to go to the bathroom a lot.

To tell you the truth I liked it while I was eating it yesterday but I don't feel right today, I feel sick, I am going to try to get back in the diet.

Day 21

Feeling better after eating healthy from the diet yesterday and today, back in track, fiu! that will tell me about vinging like that again!

On my cheating time I didn't cheat at all, I didn't feel like it, I just ate some leftover meat we had from one of the diet meals.

Day 22     198 pounds (-11)

wow! I still lost 2 1/2 pounds, I will try to behave better now.

Day 23-30     194 pounds (-15)

I was able to not cheat the rest of the way to the 30 days mark, I also have been able to reduce my portions to feel satisfied with less food, I keep refining my choices when selecting the foods for my menu, I have been able to keep what I like the most and I feel at this time that I could keep eating these type of foods for the rest of my life.

On the preparation and cooking I am getting better and faster, it is taking me way less time to prepare all meals and the meals and snacks I have selected taste great for me!

I am going to keep this diet until I reach my goal of 174.

From now on I recommend this diet to any of my family and friends!




Amazingly simple, I was never hungry, actually I skipped some meals, I loved the taste and variety of meals and I got tremendous knowledge as to what is healthy, what I liked or not and I also experienced how great it feels to eat healthy for an extended period of time.

I think this diet has changed my life, I have the fundamentals now to maintain my weight off for the rest of my life!
